Simply gorgeous classic lodge with an inner courtyard with an ancient tree. Wonderful owner, very well educated. He is also overseeing the development at World Peace Pagoda (a must visit!). Very sociable and resourceful.

Perfect location, there are restaurants nearby and the main temple complex is a very short walk away. The family are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was a good size. The shower is solar powered which meant the hot water was a little unreliable however buckets of hot water were provided immediately upon request when there was no hot water. A good breakfast is available at the property. A great place to stay in Lumbini and excellent value for money :)

Good location near to gate 5 of the Lumbini complex so an easy walk to the Mahadevi Temple. Close to restaurants and tea shops. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and arranged a highly enjoyable tour (with him as the guide) to Kapilavastu and some other lesser known sites.

Excellent location, within walking distance to Maya Devi Temple and close to the bazaar and bus stand. owner was very accommodating and provided amenities like towel, soap and extra blanket and hot drinking water on request

Jupiter and his wife are the most wonderful host. They made me feel like home. So much so that I came back three times during my time in Nepal. They take great care for their guests and go the extra mile for you. Jupiter thank you so much for your kindness and care! Further I enjoyed seeing the trees in the garden from my bedroom and hanging out on the second floor. Its a beautiful place to be!

The property is at a great location, close to the village, the bus stop and the Lumbini development region. The family owning the hotel is very welcoming and friendly and help you with everything you would need. Rooms have everything you need and are clean.

It is only ten minutes walking distance from the birth place of Buddha. We offer tours to the various sites related to the Buddha's life (Kapilavastu, Ramagrama, etc), Lumbini village tours and birdwatching. We have a beautiful garden terrace facing towards the main road. Our backyard is facing toward the north and after the rainy season we can see the mountains in the Annapurna Himalayan range.
I am working as a local tour guide and spiritual tour guide since 2002. Every morning at 7.00am I bring visitors on a Lumbini village tour, and in the evening at 5.00pm I bring visitors to the Mayadevi Temple, the birth place of Buddha for a spiritual tour. I am also presently the senior vice chairman of the Lumbini Hotel Association Nepal.
