It was so cozy and perfect for our family of 5. Wish we had more time! Came for Hobbiton and it was a perfect location. The kids were excited about all of the board games!

What wasn't there not to like it's great place to stay close to town and other things to and loved the views, with the cows and the sunset is beautiful as well. It's a good size home with heaps of space in the lounge and the rooms are a good size as well

one of the best places I ever stayed in NZ! you get a nice clean cosy three bedroom house for the price of a hotel! so peacefull and privite, warm in winter , lovely views of paddocks and Kaimai ranges , would stay again for sure!

I love how quiet and peaceful the place in the Paddock was!! Super easy to deal with Justine 😁 tha kyou for having us as guest very clean and tidy with amazing views sunsets and night sky's with no light pollution or neighbouring lights that surround the farm themed place in the Paddock 🐄🐄🐄🐄 Home away from home perfect for our stay away will definitely book again!

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farmland. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which can easily accomodate 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk. 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie Set. Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Matamata is a thriving town with many cafes, restaurants and shops to explore. The pathway from A Place in the Paddock to town means you can stroll to town.
Hope you enjoy your time at my peaceful cottage. Justine x
