This place is wonderful and relaxing, the beds are comfortable and the facilities are all very clean. You have solar lighting in the tents and are able to charge your phones/speakers/power banks etc. The shared kitchen has everything you could need plus a wicked view. There is nothing better than chilling out on the deck of your tent or in the tent and looking out to see the view. 10/10 recommend this place - no real complaints. Parking is only a short distance away from the tents - maybe a 1 minute walk if that. Harry is very lovely and only a text away if you need anything.

New ZealandWe started our NZ holiday with a couple of days relaxing at Akaroa Glamping. Driving up the narrow road, we missed the small sign indicating the entrance to the property but found it on our way back. There was a note for us indicating which tent had been allocated to us. There are two tents on the property but no-one was staying in the other one. Our tent was furnished beautifully, the bed was comfy and even had hot water bottles. The views from the verandah and a small sitting area on a lower level were spectacular. There is everything you need in the shared kitchen to cook a meal, which we did on the first night and then bacon and eggs the following morning. You have your own bathroom which was fancier then I was expecting. The owner dropped by the first morning checking all was OK and to bring a new ice-pack (though we had bought a bag of ice to ensure our wine and champagne was ice-cold). We had a storm one night but felt very safe, warm and cosy inside the tent.

Each tent includes a king bed, arm chairs, wooden floors and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It also has hot running water and first class amenities. Each has a deck that looks out over Akaroa Harbor. Just a few steps away from your tent is your private bathroom and shared kitchen.

Our two glamping sites overlook Akaroa's Harbour and give views of Onawe Peninsula, the sea and the surrounding hills. It is a three minute drive into Akaroa so while you will feel like you are away from it all you can still have Akaroa at your doorstep. Our custom built tents include, a king bed, arm chairs, wooden floors and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can enjoy the simple pleasures of camping, with the perks of hot running water and great amenities.
