We had a lovely stay at these apartments. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and the apartments themselves are even better than what you'd imagine for a beachfront property! The spa overlooking the bay is amazing and the apartment itself is spacious with a really comfy bed. Though we had unfortunately miserable weather during our stay, the accomodation made up for it with it's close proximity to the town centre and facilities

Location was amazing and the veiw was spectacular! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I had booked on the friday morning and had asked if the staff could help me with organisng some flowers and wine for the room i had booked. Within minutes i received a phone call from the owners asking specifically what i would like and how much i would like to spend on these extras. It was very easy and they absolutely exceeded my expectations, We arrived and we had been upgraded into what felt like the best room in the place. Thetable had chocolates and beautiful flowers waiting on the table for us and the Champagne was chilled in the fridge waiting to be opened. The staff were very friendly and amazing to deal with especially so last minute. Thanks very much team.

Featuring direct beach access, this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Many apartments also have stunning ocean views and outdoor furniture.

Beachfront Resort is located in Whitianga, overlooking Mercury Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is only 5 minutes’ drive from Whitianga Airport, and the restaurants of Whitianga town centre.

All apartments have a kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Each has a spacious seating area with flat-screen satellite TV. Free bodyboarding, kayaking and pétanque game equipment is included.

Guests can relax in the hot tub, or enjoy the sun in the beach-facing gardens, which feature outdoor seating. The tour desk can book scenic boat tours, as well as diving, snorkelling and fishing trips.

The main attractions of the Coromandel Peninsula, Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach, are a 30-minute drive away. The Lost Spring is only 0.9 miles away.

  • Is your private beach next to the property or do I need to use a means of transportation to go there?
    Beachfront Resort is right on beautiful Buffalo Beach. You access the beach directly from our garden. Buffalo Beach is the largest beach in Mercury Bay. Whitianga township is at the southern end and Beachfront Resort sits about midway along. It is a public beach, available to all, but only very few properties are fortunate to enjoy direct access onto it.

    Beachfront Resort offers free off street parking. One parking space per apartment.

  • What hours is the spa operational until please
    The beachfront garden Spa Pool (Hot tub/Jacuzzi) enjoys a Pohutukawa tree framed view of the beautiful bay. It is available for all guests between 9am and 10pm. Swim time is restricted to 30 mins to ensure it is available to all guests at some time.

  • Does this one have beach view. It says street view.
    Our lowest priced room - One Bedroom Apartment- Street View - does not have a sea view, All our other apartments - Beachfront Apartments and King Beachfront Apartment - have panoramic sea views. All rooms have access to beachfront garden and beach.
