The room and facilities available are within my home. A very comfy room on ground floor opposite kitchen dining area. Heater and fan in room, towel rack and clothes hanger too. Sun shines in in the afternoon. Bathroom next to bedroom. Large lounge and fridge available to guests and a summertime deck for use at the back and at the front. The room is within my home its not a separate unit but guests have use of all the very spacious downstairs and I am out of the way upstairs. Sorry no pets. I have a cat living here.
I have a background of art, photography and creative sewing. Have traveled a few countries and especially taken by Africa. Enjoy meeting people, hosting BnB is an ideal retiree occupation .
Cycle/walking tracks, wineries , cafes, swimming and surfing all a short walk away. Gannet tours to Cape Kidnappers start from one km away.There are music events at the Cafe and one winery mostly in the summer. There is a one day music festival in the farm at the back and once monthly we have a Te Awanga market on Sundays. Napier art deco city is a 22km drive. Havelock North is 15 km where there is a panoramic view of Heretaunga plains from Te Mata Peak. Waimarama and Ocean beaches are about 40 minutes south from here..
