Michael and Astrid were very friendly, kind and accommodating hosts. Breakfast each day was very good and our accommodation (family room) while on the small side, was perfectly sufficient for three people and was very clean, warm and comfortable. Chalet Queenstown is just 5 minutes’ walk from central Queenstown. It is a 10-minute drive to Queenstown International Airport and 45-minute drive to The Remarkables ski field.

A Swiss designed Chalet we refurbished and changed the layout of the interior in 2009. Guests really like the opportunity to interact with a born and bred Kiwi and to find out about all the best tips about Queenstown to enhance their stay.
With over 20 years experience in hospitality I (Alex) came to Queenstown 15 years ago and now have 3 accommodation properties for visitors. My favourite things to do is to have a nice meal at one of the many great restaurants and enjoy local wines.
Chalet Queenstown is situated on Queenstown Hill. It is an easy and quick walk to the centre of town - 5 minutes and 2 minutes walk to the lake shore. Climbing Queenstown Hill rewards visitors with fantastic views of the township, lakes and mounts.
