We appreciate the upgrade to a room with a great view of the lake & mountain. Staff was friendly. Staff arranged a nice packed bfast for us as we had to travel early in the morning. We love the daily bfast.

The reception and kitchen staff were terrific, maybe the best I encountered during my stay in NZ (and it is a tough competition as every one here is so nice). Just an example - the person responsible for the restaurant reception actually run downside to the garden to pick a mint for a tea for person who asked for! During breakfast he just kept checking every fee minutes if anything was missing and was so welcoming. The breakfast was rich and tasty.
