Richard has exquisitely refurbished an older home - it is stunning. Truly a beautiful home. Amazing deck with views if the valley and out to the sea complete with fire pit. Serve yourself breakfast was great. Beautiful garden.

We were able to book this place on the day of late in the afternoon. The house was difficult to find due to a lack of signage, which, the owner Richard, had mentioned in an email via booking.com had been lost due to a storm. Check in was easy and simple with Richard. He gave us a tour and left for the evening. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the fantastic sunset on the beautiful deck. Our room was large and the beds were comfortable. We had our continental breakfast and left. Not too far from the center of Hokitika and the gorge. I would stay here again.

The house is very nice clean and beautiful. We traveled with a group of 7 so we occupied the whole house. We feel really comfortable staying in the place! We were really impressed by facilities in the house. There are big common area which the whole group can spend time together. Also There are several activities you can do in the house such as thermal pool, dart etc. Highly recommended for everyone.
