Welcome to our bed and breakfast homestay. A large sunny historic property with original features showcasing around the entire property. Enjoy a freshly roasted coffee in the sun while reading a book in one of the window seats or balconies. After a busy day exploring the Buller region relax with a glass of wine admiring the night sky. Listen to the nature surrounding you as you awaken ready for your cooked or continental breakfast. Located just 5 minutes from town centre.
We like to make our guests feel welcome and let guests feel like they have a home away from home. We enjoy meeting new people and hearing their travel adventures. Always love a good chat and a laugh. We have two boys aged 14 and 12 years old, who will entertain your children with board games, dvd's, or a good game of outdoor cricket. Our Border Collie Kande who is 4 years old is friendly, loves her tummy being rubbed. She also loves to show off with her ball.
Five minutes' walk into the Main Centre of Town to enjoy the local shops or restaurants, Pulse Energy Centre for swimming gym yoga fitness classes or stadium for basketball squash or badminton, The racecourse for Races in December and March or A&P show in January; North Beach, Buller River, Lost Lagoon walks, Fishing and Coaltown Museum. A 5-minute walk or cycle to the new Kawariti Trials. Cape Foulwind, and Seal Colony Carters Beach including golf course and airport 10-minute drive. Denniston Incline the historic coal mine and great views of the coastline, Charming Creek walkway 20–30-minute drive. Karamea 2-hour drive.
