Vicky the host was AMAZING! We had a blast hanging out with her during our stay. The property is in beautiful conditions and they have really thought of everything you need.   • Yes is this facility able to cope with elderly person
    No not really. We have a couple of steps inside and no handrails in the shower. You might be better to look at one of the local motels

    Yes we are a BNB. There are three rooms available to book. The guests will share the bathroom and lounge area. There is also a large deck area.

    No not at alll.

Kowhai Rest was once a local school that when it closed, was relocated to the site in 1999. It is our home and set on 6 acres. 1 acre of house and garden and 5 acres which are in paddocks with stock grazing. We purchased the property in November 2015 and having 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two lounges meant that one whole wing could be dedicated to Bed and Breakfast. After extensive renovation we started our Bed and Breakfast in Dec 2016.
Kevin and Vicky love gardeing, fishing, lifestyle farming and socialising. They enjoy meeting people and often sit and chat while you have breakfast.
Our property is at the edge of town with a quiet rural outlook. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
