From its elevated position the property boasts spectacular views over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range. Please note that the house does have a lot of stairs so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Although we welcome families you will need to watch your little ones on the stairs. Queenstown Hill is also known by its Māori name of Te Tapu-nui (mountain of intense sacredness), It is a small 907 metres (2,976 ft) mountain in Queenstown. There are many houses on the hill but all activities and restaurants are in the town centre. You can walk into town from the house but be aware coming back up the hill can be a challenge you may want to take the short 5 minute taxi ride instead.
