Nova ZelandaEllie welcomed us off the Hauraki Rail Trail as we rode in and ushered us to the garage to store our bikes for the night. Then she showed us to our room which was bright and airy with a most welcoming vibe. A cup of tea and biscuits on the deck was most welcome followed by a most comfortable night's sleep. A spectacular breakfast of muesli, homegrown plums, followed by bacon and eggs set us up for the day's ride ahead. We highly recommend this B&B! Thanks for looking after us so well, Ellie. We will be back!
Nova ZelandaOur hostess was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. She had good attention to detail and my husband and I enjoyed the comfort of the place. It is close to the road but you wouldn't know it as it is a very quiet setting.

Ellie is a great story teller and really made us feel spoilt with cups of tea, breakfast, and chocolates in our room. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area and want more comfort and luxury than a campsite or cabin.

Miranda Homestead Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation at Miranda in the country 1 hour from Auckland International Airport and is at the entrance to the Coromandel. Free parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. Each room has a private bathroom. There is a shared lounge when staying in the main Homestead. There is also a self-contained unit on the property if you want more privacy.
Ellie is a trained nurse and previously an international flight attendant, and has recently written her autobiography "8 Days a Week".
