Miranda Homestead Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation at Miranda in the country 1 hour from Auckland International Airport and is at the entrance to the Coromandel. Free parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. Each room has a private bathroom. There is a shared lounge when staying in the main Homestead. Continental Breakfast served and cooked on request.
Ellie is a trained nurse and previously an international flight attendant, and has recently written her autobiography "8 Days a Week".
Local attractions include Miranda Shorebird Centre, migrating godwits and Miranda Mineral Hot Pools 1 kilometre. Famous Kaiaua Fish & Chip cafe, Bay View Motel - good pub menu, 10 kms. Saturday market at Thames, the initial section of the Hauraki Rail Trail from Kaiaua to Kopu goes right passed the gate, cyclists can put bikes in garage overnight, powerpoints available for recharging e-bikes, cold refreshments for cyclists on arrival, you are at the gateway to beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.
