Sails A Shore Lodge is a great location for the ferry and Centre of Oban. Iris and Peter are generous and knowledgeable hosts who go out of their way to make your stay special. The rooms at the lodge are very comfortable. We watched the sunrise each morning as we were having our delicious breakfast. Recommend visiting Ulva Island.

Breakfast and a 4-hour Ulva Island tour are included in your accommodations rate. Guests enjoy a sunny communal terrace and a book and DVD library. Guests can enjoy photographing the native wildlife, or relax in the guest lounge. The property also offers a free shuttle service to and from the port and air terminal. Sails On shore Lodge Stewart Island is 5 minutes’ walk from the Stewart Island Ferry Terminal and central Oban. Ulva Island is a 4-hour walk away. All rooms are heated and include a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Each room has electric blankets, satellite TV and a DVD player. Continental breakfast is served in the dining room and includes muesli, homemade bread, juice, coffee/tea and fresh fruits.
