Absolutely amazing, the space was clean and beautiful with so many thoughtful touches including the outdoor tub, the binoculars and breakfast! We were lucky to get clear skies so the star gazing was perfect as well as the sunset
United KingdomI booked SkyScape for 1 night with my mom. Although it can be a very romantic getaway, we enjoyed the solitude, isolation and unique experience. Tips: - Don’t worry, you’re going the right way. The office (owners home) is about 10 minutes off the main road. Deep in farm land. Then SkyScape is an additional 5 minute drive into the middle of nowhere. Would definitely not recommend making this drive for the first time at night. - request the meat and cheese platter. It’s pricy (80NZ) but definitely worth it. Had the best local meat & cheese I’ve ever tasted. - don’t be disappointed if it’s too cloudy to see the stars. After reading reviews in the guest book, we realized this happens frequently. Don’t worry, it’s still worth it. This was an experience we will never forget!

Interior and amenities are so well thought of. Breakfast provided was also of highest quality. Unbeatable views and utmost private. You feel luxury from the moment you step into this place. Hosts are amazing too with great recommendations on things to do around. I would highly recommend a taste of Superior hospitality standards by living few days here. I was very fortunate to spend two nights with great view of the stars from bed itself.

Skyscape is located 6.2 mi from Twizel, on Omahau Hill Station, a 6000 acre sheep and beef farm. Guests can hike, take a farm tour or simply enjoy the stunning scenery.
Your SkyBed is nestled within native scrub, in a private, isolated location. The property uses solar, gas and a back up generator.
A gourmet continental breakfast is provided and can be prepared in a small kitchenette. An optional evening dinner platter with local meat and produce is available on request.
