very friendly ad easy to get in with staff and other guests. Put food and beer in fridge with no worries about security. Very big lounge TV that young people watched something on - I think they provided or found what movies they wanted to watch. We went down to "town" to Cossie club - very friendly locals, good bar prices and good food on thurs - Sat - we got excellent fish and chips at a very good price.

The kitchen was huge and well stocked. We really enjoyed being able to make a real meal and sit around a table together. The Staff is wonderful and so kind! This is rustic with homey charm!

The nostalgia of knowing most of the nurses who occupied the premises over 60 years ago and who were very close friends of mine and highly competent professionals and Raetihi is my home town. The concept of converting it into an accommodation space is wonderful and has the greenlight from me!

Set on 5 acres of park like grounds, Snowy Waters Lodge & Tours offers free WiFi, an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. Guests also enjoy a communal kitchen, a games room and BBQ facilities.

Raetihi Snowy Waters Lodge is 12 minutes' drive from central Ohakune. It is 30 minutes' drive from the National Army Museum Waiouru. The start of the Tongariro Crossing is 40 minutes' drive away.

All accommodations offers heating and bed linen. Most accommodations offers access to shared bathroom facilities. The self-contained villa features a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom.
