“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Alpine Retreat. The location is perfect - near enough to Queenstown but away from the crowds with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The rooms (bedroom, sitting room and bath) are spacious and modern. Breakfast is delicious and healthy as well as the baked goods left in our room every afternoon. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. We stayed 4 nights after a whirlwind tour of New Zealand. It was the perfect “chill” spot for us to end our trip.”
