Our team at Stay Waiheke all live, work, and raise our families on Waiheke Island and we know well what makes this island so special. We look forward to sharing our local knowledge and assisting our guests with all aspects of their stay. Our team is available 7 days a week 8:30 am to 5pm for guests and for emergencies after hours. Please note: Guests are required to upload a visa or mastercard to the property managers reservation system within 72 hours of booking. The card details are held as security on the property in case of any damage. This is a condition of the reservation. Full payment is required 45 days before check in.

Property info

This Mediterranean style country cottage is situated on the edge of the vineyard at Cypress Ridge estate with scenic rural views to neighboring Miro/Casita Miro and Obsidian Vineyards. Cypress Ridge is a 22-acre working vineyard and olive grove situated in the Onetangi wine valley. Guests are welcome to explore the estate… have a walk through the olive grove and vineyard, enjoy the harvest from the large kitchen garden, find fresh eggs in the hen house, tramp through an acre of native bush with several 1000 year old Puriri trees or picnic in the shade of huge Pohutukawas overlooking the neighbouring vineyards. The cottage has 1 bedroom with a superking sized bed. There is a full bathroom with rain shower and a small kitchenette with fridge, gas hob and convection microwave in the open plan living area. Bi-fold doors open the lounge on to the patio with gas BBQ and seating area where guests can dine and enjoy this tranquil and private retreat. Bed configuration: Bedroom - superking bed.

Neighborhood info

The property shares boundaries with several award winning vineyards and restaurants including Miro/Casita Miro, Stonyridge, Te Motu and Obsidian… making spectacular wine and food a short stroll away. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to picturesque Onetangi beach with its 2.5 kilometers of white sand and a further 10-minutes down the beach leads to the local pub. The Vineyard Cottage is situated at the end of a gravel road which is suitable for 4 wheel drive vehicles only. Parking for two wheel drive vehicles is approximately 25 metres from the cottage with parking for 4 wheel drive vehicles is just outside the cottage door.
