Auckland is great to visit with many places to see.
Auckland is great to visit with many places to see. Would recommend a short stay at Auckland in addition to visiting other places either on the north island or south island such as Queenstown (which is what we did). Or if you do have a car it would be worthwhile and easier to travel to other places whilst staying in Auckland. This location is very central, we were staying here for a specific reason to be close to the Eye Institute but even if you weren't here for that it is a great location to the city and to south Auckland and the shopping areas. We loved getting out of Auckland City and spending our time in a beautiful Air bnb north of Auckland called Torbay. It was delight!
