Akwaba Lodge is the story of a French family, JC and Natali, who discovered expatriation at an early age thanks to their parents who moved to Africa. JC lived for many years in Ivory Coast, a country that deeply impacted him. Akwaba means "welcome" or rather "Good arrival" in the language of Ivory Coast. Akwaba Lodge is a team dedicated to offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making sure that each client feels at home during their stay.

Akwaba Lodge is located in the heart of a tropical paradise on the island Solarte, Bocas del Toro, Panama. It is a real haven of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its exclusive location guarantees a quiet and relaxing getaway. The crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea invite you to swim, snorkel and participate in water activities (we offer kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment for free to our customers). The surroundings of the Akwaba Lodge is home to spectacular marine fauna. Our future customers will be able to swim with colorful tropical fish, starfish, dolphins and, hopefully, majestic sea turtles. The lush gardens of our lodge offer a peaceful environment to walk and relax. The exotic aromas of tropical flowers and the singing of tropical birds create a charming atmosphere.
