“The rooms are incredible: gorgeously decorated, spacious, and comfortable with all of the modern amenities. We had a corner (Room 8) and another room (Room 9) on the third floor. Although both were excellent, the corner rooms are worth the splurge. The location is great--steps from great restaurants and bars and within a short walk of everything in Casco Viejo. The challenge is that you won't want to leave the room to explore the city! The service was a also sharp. On arrival we were able to check in early and provided a helpful set of recommendations for restaurants and bars. They did not steer us wrong. The front desk also arranged convenient on-site COVID testing for our return flight to the United States.”

“Everything! The building to start with, beautiful, classical late 19th century style. The room we had was enormous, clean as could be and very well equipped. Bed was perfect. And then the service. I asked for a small cake since it was my wife’s birthday. We were totally surprised by a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate and a delicious apple pie. Best personnel ever. Maybe the best hotel we have ever stayed at!”

We loved the metal flasks to fill with filtered water. The owners were very friendly and helpful finding good options for a drink and breakfast. The location is perfect to walk everywhere in Casco.”
