I had an absolutely amazing stay at Skully's! The dorm rooms are so nice with varying levels for beds. Despite them being on top of and around each other they were all built in so no bunk beds to be seen. The top level of beds is lined with a screen around the perimeter allowing the whole room to cool off nicely without AC and the individual fans for each bed help with this as well. I was lucky enough to have one of the beds right at the top and it rained a few nights on the metal roof, creating a magical sound. I rarely left the hostel and was not disappointed in the least.

This property is amazing. Skully has really put a lot of thought into making this property exceptional. There are so many bonuses to staying here. They have Ebike and motocycle rentals, an awesome bar and pool, and the view of the ocean from our private room was perfect. There are 3 restaurants and there is a full kitchen with deli fridges if you want to cook your own meals. The location is great being out toward the best surf spots on the island and they are a short taxi ride from Bocas town. When I return to Bocas I will being staying here for sure. A side note: I spoke with Skully and they have big plans for additional rooms and other upgrades coming in the near future!

Amazing staff, owner, and location. Great themed dorm room and comfortable mattresses. Impeccable view on the ocean. Nothing to complain. If there would be anymore wishes, the dorm had no AC but we knew beforehand and each bed has vents. Great possibility to swim in the pool or chill in the ocean depending on the tide. Chilling in the water is always possible although for big waves and "real" swimming you should visit a different beach close by.

Most unique hostel of Isla Colon!! Skully's hostel on the Caribbean Sea is just outside the hustle and bustle with beautiful creative sleeping areas and a nice bar with pool tables in the sand. Waking up with a view of the Caribbean Sea and the private beach, with mega sweet dogs (Enola 😘) with lots of chill seating areas and including a hanging lounger by the sea

The vibes at Skully's are just phenomenal. I ended up extending my stay because i fell in love with the place. Many delicious food options, a really nice bar, activities everyday like Karaoke, Bar Bingo, Pool tournament, live music, and more. Also, i had restful sleep as the dorms are comfortable and people were super respectful to one another. I could stay here forever. Definetely the best place to stay in Bocas.
