If you can, definitely do it! This is my second time staying up in Machu Picchu. While you can no longer enter the ruins at any time as before, staying up there when everyone else is gone enjoying the view is worth every cent. My kids enjoyed every aspect of the stay and would definitely do it again if I’m ever back visiting Machu Picchu.

The location next to the entrance of Machu Picchu is unbeatable. The rooms are not large but beautifully appointed. We had a lovely terrace looking over a central green space and there are walking paths with some private seating that are peaceful and quiet. The restaurant has very good food, great service and gracious dining. The entire team offers nothing but the highest level of customer service which made us feel very pampered and appreciated. This lodge is truly a place to unwind and find your own sanctuary.

The hotel was well worth the money and I was very pleased with the service and the food was amazing.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Our room had a private balcony overlooking Huayna Picchu. The staff were very warm and attentive and were always making sure that everything was of our satisfaction.

one of the best experiences I have ever had in all my travels

Proximity to Machu Picchu, hospitality, dining, massage therapy, ALL OF IT! Alex was incredibly helpful in helping us to secure tickets, transportation, and other services. Gustavo met us at the train station when we arrived and delivered our luggage to the train when we departed so that we could enjoy Aguas Calientes for a few hours before we left!

I like everything about this hotel! My husband and I went there to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. They treated us like we were the only ones staying at the hotel. They welcomes us with a beautiful fruit platter and bubbly, we loved it! The property is gorgeous. They have an area where you can walk and relax while enjoying amazing views of Machu Picchu. The room was super comfortable. They upgraded us to a room with a patio, which was super nice. I enjoyed waking up and just walking to the patio enjoying the view, vegetation and clean air. Martin y Guido were our favorites! They explained everything about the food and a bit of history too! The pisco sour tasting was also super fun! It was a great way to taste and learned from a variety of piscos while making new friends. Last but not least, the location is perfect. We were able to enjoy visiting Machu Picchu and then come back and relax in our room. We'll definitively be back!

what an amazing place to stay !!! the location is unbeatable few steps from the main entrance of Macchu Picchu staff of the Hotel extremely amazing and so , so helpful , we arrive early to take our tour to the sanctuary and they store our suitcase and backpacks

Girls trip was the way to go for two female cousins who split the bill for a beautiful room for one night. We received a refreshing welcome special lemonade from Rhey, who was wonderful and informative. We were very impressed that they were very accommodating with tweaking our lunch and dinners to accommodate our likes and dietary needs (even a vegan menu)! Room service for a glass of wine in bed to rest our feet was heavenly! Down to the bar for the complimentary Pisco lesson and tasting was so much fun and Giovanni the bartender and our new friends we met had a blast. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful.

This hotel made the entire trip to Machu Picchu! It was right at the entrance to the citadel and allowed us to visit the site twice. The room was pleasant, with a terrace to the open garden area overlooking the Andes mountains. As for service, exceptional. We thought Cesar Paredes was the general manager because he made us feel so relaxed and comfortable during our stay - he was available at all hours and catered to any request we had. I had an issue with my ticket to Machu Picchu on the second day, and he personally walked over to the ticket booth to fix it. I’m not sure who the actual manager is of the property, but Cesar exemplified the type of service we were looking for and should be promoted to this level. The experience was wonderful.
