Arequipa is a very nice city different from the other cities in Peru, a very clean and welcoming town. I think it has a lot to offer from the mountains to the coast! Colca canyon is a must! Amazing place to relax and enjoy the mountains and the peaceful towns. Downtown is also really nice with good restaurants, cafes, museums and nice churches that are open to visit in the day. There are also nice typical restaurants around the city where they serve local and delicious dishes. Arequipa is totally recommended for 2 to 4 days.

Nice city with an attractive historical centre with Santa Catalina Monastery the absolute top attraction, an amazing place with an amazing history. Do not miss a trip to Colca Canyon to see the condors, that is amazing and this is one of the few places in the world where you can see condors. Another must see site is The founder of Arequipa (Garci Manuel de Carbajal) mansion, about 20 km outside the city. In two to three days you will be able to cover the above mentioned attractions.

A beautiful city!
A beautiful city! Lots of culinary options to choose from, especially in the city center around Plaza des Armas! If you need to try anything in particular, go for Kam Thai Cuisine and Mumis for their tasting course, as well as for Pachamanca at Don Beto a bit outside of the city center.
Anything you need can be reached by foot, also, the taxis are reliable.
The guides of all the tours were well trained and gave you all the information needed!
I can only recommend going to Arequipa if you have the chance, for my part, I'll certainly come back one day :)
climbing Nevado Chachani, Laguna Salinas, climbing Ubinas vulcano

I booked the hotel for my female friend, who was travelling to the Bolivia border and back to Arequipa, because of the corruption at the Bolivian border. She didn’t sleep or could wash herself for several days and was coming back too late, so while I was travelling in Spain, I booked for her.
She told me that the personnel of the hotel were highly educated and friendly and she even could stay extra nights.
Because of her story, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The price was good as well.
Being humane is the best cure for the world.
The location is perfect for being in the historical center of Arequipa. The hotel is just a couple of blocks to the main plaza and the Santa Catalina Monastery is in front of the hotel though you have to walk around the block to reach the entrance. Our room had a view of the Misty Volcano. Arequipa seems to be a busy city 24 hours of the day so street noise could be heard in our room but it did not interfere with our sleep. The reception staff was very helpful and pleasant.
The staff was extremely supportive and informative. They helped us with all of our needs, from meal recommendations to planning our tour to Colca Canyons. Very attentive, which is extremely appreciated. They also helped us book another night at the hotel after our return from Colca Canyons and helped us book transportation from and to the airport. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good and quick. I would 100% recommend this hotel for your stay.
was the most comfortable stay and also the best service and staff we had so far in Peru ! Rooms were big and clean - the bed we ha was massive! the staff we amazing at all times & helped out and went above and beyond - also packed us takeaway breakfast when we left early for super early tours.
the Breakfasts at the hotel we absolutely mint- Looked forward to them everyday !

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great with unlimited fresh coffee. the owners were lovely and the information given about the area was very thorough they helped us plan what to do in our tike in arequipa. The historic nature of the building was really cool too, it was owned by an ex president of peru, and has been sympathetically restored.
The staff in the hotel were so lovely. They were very welcoming and kind. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was on the terrace with a beautiful view.
Location was perfect as you are minutes away from the old town in Arequipa.
Really good quality price, specially because we were in a private bedroom with private bathroom including breakfast.
Staff really nice, possible to organize the Colca Canyon tour with the help of the staff at the hostel.
Nice rooftop.

Great hostel/hotel. Central location. Hot shower, very comfortable bed, small kitchen if you need. Free coffee/tea. Staff are friendly and provide excellent service. One of the best breakfasts I have had in Peru.
Our stay was really short. We only stayed for one night. The decor of the interier was really nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located conveniently in the heart of Arequipa.
One of the best vfm stays in Peru. Warm rooms, 24/7 hot water, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Safe neighborhood near the big shopping mall and with historical center accessible by foot.
The rooftop is awesome to watch the sunset and beautiful view of Arequipa.
The place is cute and close to Plaza de Armas.
They can keep your luggage while you are doing the Colca tour.
