It was an amazing experience for me and my group.
It was an amazing experience for me and my group. We loved everything about our stay. We stayed in the Garden view and pool bungalow and also the Premium Overwater bungalow, having our own private pool and being able to have a swim right by our Overwater bungalow was the highlights of our stay. Great facilities around the resort. I highly recommend Manava beach Resort to others.

Convenient village within walking distance of the Manava...
Convenient village within walking distance of the Manava Beach Resort where banks, shopping and restaurants are available. Most restaurants offer free transport so there are alternatives to eating at the resort if required.
very nice staff, helpful and friendly.
we particularly like the transit room service offered to us when we arrive in the morning when the room was not ready. they let us use the transit room quickly to change and freshen up. same on check out date, our ferry was in the afternoon. we had activities booked in the am, the hotel offered us 45 minutes to use the transit room after check out to take a shower before we take our ferry back. it’s a free service that the hotel offer! such a great idea and we feel we were well taken care of!
This is a fantastic place to stay on Moorea. It is very comfortable for two couples. It has separated bedrooms with a bath on each end. The shared living space was excellent. Right on the beach with a lovely deck. Good views and swimming. A real bonus was meeting the family that owns it. We had great visits with Jay, one of the original Bali Hai Boys. It was so fun to get some island history from him and his family. Close to shops and hotels and dining.
We liked the location at Cook Bay. It was beautiful. The accommodation itself was quite basic but the bed was comfortable. As we only stayed there for one night, it was fine. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the hotel pier, following by watching fishes, including several black tips sharks, swimming at night when the light came on at the pier. Some sharks were quite large. The services from those staff we met were also good
The staff was wonderful and friendly. The AC worked very well and the food was no more expensive than Hawaii. Manava is next to a food truck and across the street from a grill who had delicious poisson cru. Rudy's and Moorea Beach club both will pick you up for dinner and deliver you back you to the hotel.
There is a laundry just about next to the super market up the street. She washes 5 kg for 1500 f.
The location is right on the beach and close to shopping. It was ideal. The host, Jay Carlisle, lives on the property and is the last surviving Bali Hai Boy. He is 89 and is a delightful story teller of what it was like on Moorea in the fifties. You will find out more about the Bali Hai Boys on YouTube with videos that are so old they are in Black and White rather than in Color.
My stay at Manava was absolutely fantastic! The employees were so friendly, personable, and professional. The food was excellent. We felt so comfortable. Everything I wanted could be accessed from the hotel. It was an experience of luxury, culture, and coziness. I will definitely book a stay at this resort again. Mauruuru Manava!
Staff were amazing, thorough and very friendly. The dining options are great and miles ahead of the Hilton Moorea's kitchens. Even though the pool was small, it was not too crowded and very comfortable and pretty with great views. Beach was great, but waters are a bit less protected.
An absolutely wonderful location ,it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the pier especially at sunset, it was nice having our coffee and breakfast over the water, Kaveka Hotel felt really authentic. We were in Tahiti! The staff were great very helpful and attentive
The experience staying at an overwater bungalow was amazing, wasn't expecting too see such a variety of fish and even rays while snorkeling around the bungalows. Beach water color at its best. Beautiful hotel and nice energy staff!
The location is amazing. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, and the rooms have great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always eager to help you with a smile. We loved the diving and the swimming.
Wonderful hotel and incredibly nice staff. Mainly the lady from the activities. My daughter had her wedding here and everything was perfectly prepared and we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you again!!
The welcome to the Hotel was impressive. But the appearance of the room was a welcome sight. The staff had spend considerable time decorating the room and it was impressive.
