Absolute heaven on earth at a good price. Much cheaper than other luxury hotels but with most of the same facilities and still in an excellent location. Staff were super helpful and friendly, pool was clean, room was spotless, had everything you need for a lovely stay in paradise! If you're looking for a slice of luxury but can't afford the Conrad, Hilton or Intercontinental - this is the place!!

The location was excellent...close to shops and restaurants. Their private beach was wonderful and clean. The staff was great and extremely polite and friendly. They gave us many recommendations of things to do and see. Scooter rentals and bikes were right on the property, which I would highly recommend. They provide snorkeling gear free right at the front desk. They opened breakfast up an hour early just for us because they knew we had an early departure. They took care of our rides to and from the port without us even having to ask.

Wonderful stay! Enjoyed the yummy full breakfast spreads and the staff was a delight! Rooms were comfortable and their being across the street from the main hotel was not at all an issue. We walked to nearby restaurants and the well stocked store next door was convenient. It was nice to enjoy the pool after a day at sea. We enjoyed the electric scooters we rented directly from the hotel - so convenient! They even swapped out the partially-drained batteries after a full day of zipping around the island without our asking so we were up and ready for an early island ride at sunrise to make the most of it! Staff help with airport transfer arrangements made it a breeze! Wonderful overall stay and value!

The little, private beach which surprisingly isn’t always packed. There’s always empty chairs to be had and you get a view of some of the over-the-water bungalows. Breakfast is decent, there’s a ping-pong table for kids, and the pool is apparently open all day! The facility is well-kept and is great for families with kids.

Clean with local staff that are kind and genuinely hospitable as if you are their personal guests at home. No other hotel on the island has this quality. Usually there is foreign management with the base staff being local this hotel is all local staff. They take pride in their work.

Royal Bora Bora is owned by a local family, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The lady on the tour desk organised my place on a last minute half day lagoon trip which I recommend! My room was clean, quiet and went straight on to the garden. The beach and pool were always clean and there was plenty of space for everyone and free hire of snorkelling equipment. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice - cooked, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and crepes! I also had dinner in the hotel restaurant - the Royal Bora Bora platter of fresh fish sashimi, poisson cru and prawns was delicious as well. Drinks were reasonably priced in comparison with other places I had ordered cocktails around French Polynesia. The hotel was a short walk from a small market, other restaurants and main public beach. Shuttle service was easy to book and on time. Whole experience was stress free. There were also bikes and kayaks for hire.
