Good tvs for streaming. Bikes on site. Located conveniently to ATM, pharmacy and small market. Very practical kitchen. Strong air conditioning. Fred made a good recommendation for a nearby breakfast cafe.

This is our second trip to French Polynesia, but first time with kids. We felt like we kind of knew our way around so we didn’t book a mainstream hotel/resort. We were the only ones staying in the facility which is essentially an Airbnb with impeccable care from our host - Fred. He was there at 10pm to welcome us and get us settled in at our arrival day after several hours of flight delay, helped us book an 4x4 tour upon inquiry, and contacted United to get our lost bags delivered to the lodge (and came to meet the delivery van), and offered and booked a taxi for our flight off the island. I cannot say enough great things about Fred. In addition, I t’s in a great location. Banks, pharmacy, and grocery stores nearby. We also walked to downtown. Fred also shared a few good places for breakfast and evening food trunks. Lastly, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.

This was a hidden gem! I wasn't sure what exactly to expect, but it was so lovely. The bedroom was spacious and had air conditioning and a TV with streaming services. The full kitchen was nice to have and we used it to cook several meals. We had been traveling for a few weeks prior to our stay and one of our credit cards was canceled due to fraud. It was a stressful situation and we ended up sending the new card to Fred. He went above and beyond to go to the post office and get the package for us when it didn't make it directly to the residence. He also gave us great advice on nearby grocery stores and activities. Overall, a great place to stay!

The other reviews on here are on point. Fred makes sure to help you in whatever way he can. He recommended great restaurants and even made a reservation for us. Clean, spacious facility, access to nice kitchen/fridge, and coffee machine.

It was very clean. It was decorated sparse, but pretty. The owner had a washer and dryer and let us do laundry for five dollars a load and the laundry soap was included.. Also, there were bikes free for use. We enjoyed riding bikes but here it is kind of tricky. If you can make it to the waterfront there’s a great area to ride bikes. Cars here park on the sidewalk so you need to be careful. The fact that the bedroom was air-conditioned was huge. The rest of the house could get a little warm, but nothing that a ceiling fan wouldn’t cure. But your bedroom was so nice at night to be nice and cool. The bathroom was really clean and nicely remodeled. Do you have a shelf for your use in the refrigerator. There are plates, glasses, and wine glasses. There is a covered patio with nice seating . We sat out there when it rained and stayed comfortable and dry. The owner also gave us tips for touring the area and for some nearby restaurants that he liked.

Fred was super helpful and very methodical. He greeted us and provided local recommendations, he even lined up our taxi to the airport the following morning. The kitchen was a social atmosphere and the bedroom had A/C cranking. It was a perfect stop before our flight out of Tahiti.

We had the deluxe suite which allowed us to share the bedroom with our 2 kids. We also had our own bathroom which was nice. The a/c was a godsend because it was pretty hot when we stayed there. The owner, Fred, was really accommodating. He made sure that we were comfortable and he gave us what we needed such as extra towels, more toilet paper, etc. He also gave us recommendations of places to eat and visit. The lodge was really quiet and the wifi was pretty good. My daughter was also able to watch some Netflix which was good for the downtime. The lodge is also at a central location so as long as you have a car, it's easy to get around the area. It's walking distance to a bakery/patisserie, pharmacy, bank, and a supermarket which was awesome. I highly recommend this accommodation.
