I only have superlatives about this place! It's all about nature - lush green, right next to the water, amidst the mangroves, owned and managed by people who really care about the protection of this unique environment. Calm, quite and relaxing, but still in a strategic location, close to some of the main sightseeings in Cebu. Great to marvel at the sunset or the scenic hills around. It's spotless clean and well maintained. The owners are lovely, fast to answer any questions and provide useful information. The food in the restaurant is amazing and so is the stand up paddle (or kayak) tour around the mangroves that they offer, so don't miss any of them! Thank you for the lovely stay - it was one of our highlights in Cebu!

Everything, the location is awesome, the staff is very friendly and helpful, environmentally friendly, rooms are made in a traditional way you can tell they have taken a big effort to do them comfortable, moskito screens are in place and can keep the windows open all the time.

This place is truly beautiful. We stayed 3 nights and loved the concept: the huts fit well into the green, the trees provide plenty of cool so there really is no need for an AC, the view from the restaurant over the bay and mangroves is amazing, and the food was delicious. Alain and Simon and the rest of the staff are very accommodating and super attentive. We booked a canyoneering tour and scooter with their partners, everything smooth and easy. Will definitely stay again when we return to Badiyan (Moalboal is a 10 min scooter ride away)!

we loved this accommodation as it was set in nature and away from the busy area. The food is absolutely delicious. Being vegetarian isn’t easy in Philippines, but we felt very well catered for at Eskapo Verde. Simon and Allan are very attentive and gave us good advice and tips. I spent 2 nights in Eskapo Verde and it was an amazing stay. Firstly, the hotel is really in the middle of nature. You will hear very little noise from the road and a lot of birds singing. The rooms and amenities are perfectly clean and very comfortable. The staff is professional and nice, as well as the owners. And last, the restaurant is wonderful ! As the hotel is a bit remote, you will need a scooter or tricycle to reach the town. But you can also stay to have your meal at the hotel. That's what I did and I loved it. They have a lot of vegetarian options. The dorms can fit 10 people, and it might feel a bit crowded when the place is fully booked BUT when I stayed there we were only 3 people, so it was luxurious ! There is no AC but I did not suffer from heat during the night. They offer as activity a tour in the mangrove, that I recommend.

Everyone should stay here when they visit Moalboat, such a nice place on the sea front with their own woodland, mangrove forests you can kayak and paddle board, amazing food, clean bathrooms and spacious rooms. Can organise tours through them and can hire motorbikes from them. Its a little outside of Moalboat town but it’s very easy to get a tricycle to town or just hire a motorbike. Only booked 3 nights but stayed for 6. Owners are really helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back!

We spent most of our time at the restaurant, enjoying not only the meals (with lots of vegetarian options) but the beautiful surrounding scenery! When not eating, we enjoyed the lovely stories from Simon and Alain, who together with staff and other guests created a chill and friendly vibe.
