I like Vigan for it's old world appeal especially at the very popular Calle Crisologo. I also like the friendliness of the people, the amazing plazas and the choices of restaurants available. Vigan has its own very unique charm and despite not being as modern as some of the more developed cities in the Philippines, it is just as, if not more interesting. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

Beautiful and historic. Very friendly people. Getting around is fairly easy. We took the Kalesa to tour the city. Really need to plan where to eat at early since most places close early enough. 1995 Studio Cafe is a great place for tea, coffee, smoothie and some food.

Calle Crisologo itself is beautiful and a great spot to take pictures especially at night, but beyond it there's not much to see and do. A one-day visit is enough, IMHO, as there are many more things to see and do around Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.

Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm.
Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm. Uncharacteristically it is not crowded unlike much of the Philippines. The beaches are good, the old city is fun to explore and its one of the few places in Philippines where I wasn't stressed driving as there is little traffic, and so easy to get around. One of the cleanest places I have seen. Vigan take pride in their streets and surroundings and don't litter.

Great food, a lot of attractions within walking distance of each other, Calle Crisologo and the Cathedral are always a great idea, especially at night.
Must try eats: Irene's Vigan Empanada, Cafe Bigaa, Cafe Leona, Calle Brewery
Pasalubong: Irma's Longganisa and Bagnet, Tongson's Bibingka, Senorita Dulce
The hotel does not have a kitchen so breakfast comes in a plastic wrapped plate from a nearby facility and is often delivered ahead of your requested time thus is cold when you are ready to eat. To their credit, they knock on your door to say that the meal has arrived. Parking is somewhat limited though they have overflow parking nearby. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and the hotel is an easy walk to all the main attractions.
From the very first day till the very last day, the staff was really accommodating. They were incredibly cordial, helpful, and cheerful. The surroundings, shower, and room were beautifully maintained. It is also close to popular eateries.
If you wish to enjoy a nice stay in Vigan, this is the place to stay. I commend the establishment's proprietor and employees.
I appreciate you so much letting us stay. 🎉
I like the property’s location and the fact that they have a parking space. I met the owners and they were very accommodating, they even offered to lend us their cute bicycles to roam around the beautiful streets of Vigan. The hotel was beautiful and so many spots where you could take photos. Their towels were so soft and the beds were comfortable.
Great location in old town Vigan. The hotel building itself is just about 200 years old with a great history. Located on a street with all buildings 200 years old, much history there. Good horse buggy rides were 1/2 block from hotel. Staff at hotel was superb with any request and area information supplied freely.
It’s a really nice and big house that feels more like a (quite luxurious) family home than a hotel. However, they have a bunch of incredibly nice rooms for guests. We were the only guests and enjoyed our stay a lot; especially that we could use the well equipped kitchen for some money for gas. thanks again!
I like the location of our room, nice view outside the window. Food is nice and room and linen is clean and theres a pool. The resto is very nice.too! Even if its not in vigan city, we enjoyed the place..its only 15 minutes by trike or.shuttle going to.vigan city. Thank.you ovemar! We had a nice time!
very accomodating staff. They agreed to let us check-in early which is super nice. Room is spot on clean and great value for money. Location is near to Vigan but not too close which make it peaceful and comfortable. They have swimming pool and near the beach! just perfect for a family getaway.
The hotel is so clean. I was not expecting that they have hot and cold shower considering that the price is very affordable. That makes this hotel a good choice whenever you are in Vigan. Not so close though to Calle Crisologo but you can just walk your way to there.
Clean room, good location, staff are very nice and accommodating, they preserved the structure of the hotel which has spanish vibe. we even enjoyed our breakfast just like the old days (missed my grandmom becoz of that) we will be back here again 🥲🤗👍🏻
We’ve staying in this hotel everytime we are in Vigan.
Brings back good memories. It is well maintained. Staff are friendly. It is walking distance from Calle Crisologo but still far enough not to be disturbed by the noise from the new bars that sprung.
Very clean room. Warm water shower. Good quiet central location. Near a very good karinderya. Good wifi. Good value room. Vigan was wonderful. Glad we got a chance to experience the old town and friendly people.
Just a wonderful historic hotel in the city centre of Vigan. Everything can be reached by feet. 24/7 massage (which was amazing) Great service and even a breakfast sandwich for early checkout was available.
