Second night was in the nicest room of the Hostel, and we highly appreciated being moved into it! We loved the balcony and the classical music we could overhear from across the street coming from, I assume, a conservatory student.

The hostel meets all expectations you would think of for the value of money. The people at the reception, Marta and Łukasz, were so kind and helpful in recommending us local places to eat and local night clubs to visit. The location is also fantastic as it’s close to Wawel Castle and the old town with many bus and tram stops close to it.

The owner and staff is excellent. Everybody is smiling, warm and welcoming. The property itself is a charming, beautiful house with wooden flooring. The bathroom is never dirty simply due to some simple hygiene related steps taken by the owners like putting an air freshener, a good floor mat etc. The kitchen allows you to cook Your Own meals, the decor makes you feel that you are living in an ancient house or something. I loved it.

Ars Hostel has an excellent location just 1,300 feet from the famous Wavel Castle and the Jewish district, Kazimierz. The friendly staff is more than happy to give you information about the city’s entertainment options and cultural attractions, and can also arrange guided tours.

The hostel offers you basic but comfortable dorm rooms with shared toilet and bathroom facilities. The largest room can sleep up to 10 people. Other shared facilities include a library, a homey living room with a TV, and a guest kitchen, in case you feel like cooking.
