A historic city with a lovely old town square (currently under some renovation), a Hapsburg era hunting palace and pleasant grounds with castle ruins. Interesting to go back and forth across the bridge to the "twin city" on the Czech side and to have easy access to restaurants and cafes on both sides. It's also an easy day trip to drive to the Wielicka Salt Mine and underground cathedral near Krakow.

Like anywhere there are all sorts of people.
Like anywhere there are all sorts of people. Some are very friendly and interesting while others are cold and lacking culture. Without the language I found it difficult to get people to show their friendlier side. The main road up to the town square has been perpetually worked on for many years.

The small part of the town which i visited (the castle) was very interesting. It was extremely helpful that all the information notices where in English too. Well worth a visit.
The view from the tower was amazing.
Gorgeous, spacious apartment in an old building above a bank. Good shower, excellent wifi, comfy sofa! Brilliant location on the high street - just a few minutes on foot from the castle and the main square, and about 15 minutes from Sportpark, which hosts the Cieszyn parkrun on Saturdays. There's even a music venue in the basement, but it won't disturb you. The Czech railway station is about 25 minutes' walk away. Owner was kind enough to text clear instructions on how to get into the flat.
In this spacious apartment you instantly see that someone put thought and heart into its interior design. Cosy and stylish at the same time. Enjoy your coffee on the couch with the first sunbeams over the rooftops, while watching the city waking up downstairs on Głęboka street. Rynek (center/market place) is 3 minutes by foot, castle and tower are 5 minutes away. Parking ticket was provided. We felt welcome and fully supported throughout our trip.
I loved the cosy atmosphere, which helped me enjoy Cieszyń much more, to feel as being a part of this beautiful town. The staff is very hospitable and can aid in anything you ask for. This is definetely a place to stay in this town. Your windows uncover the view of the beatiful old town street. The market square is so near, all you can do is be grateful and happy.
Clean, modern, well equipped (dishwasher, coffee machine, free wifi, sports channels in TV, fresh towels etc) and spacious apartment. Nice and quiet area with the Lidl supermarket across the road, 2min away. Train/coach station and the shopping mall next to it in 10min walk distance. Not far from the main square and tourist attractions.
The apartment is very spacious, nice, clean, beds are very comfortable and it is in the centre of Cieszyn. You have everything what you need: shops, caffee shops and restaurants just minutes from apartment.
Cleanliness and location of the property was ideal. Perfect if you want to be close to everything in Cieszyn. The hosts were helpful and the apartment served as a comfortable place to stay.
Very decent hotel not far from the old town, but without the fuss of driving there. Convenient parking, clean room, no frills, but everything you need is there and for the good price.
