My second visit. A great place to stay for film lovers. Spacious, clean rooms, this one came with a modestly equipped kitchen. The location on Piotrkowska is perfect for exploring the city. Parking (paid extra) is in front of the hotel in a very narrow alley.

This is a fascinating old building, which is really handy for the main street but because it's in a lane off the street is very quiet. (The room was quite spacious. The one I was in has the ceiling slope so don't book it if you're over 5ft 7ins. I had to duck in places.)

I loved Stare Kino Residence at first sight! Such a fascinating place. Everywhere references to cinema’s world. Amazing breakfast. Lovely staff. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more!

The hotel is located just off the Piotrkowska street. It has a very interesting decor as it used to be a cinema and it features many film memorabilia. Each floor is decorated in a different era style. There is a small cinema at the basement with a different shows, we haven't been. Our room was in the loft - spacious, with kitchenette and a big bathroom.

Room was pretty stylish. Breakfast was really excellent, it was better than at the Hilton in Warsaw which I stayed at after this hotel. Also great service, free printer available on the Wifi network, saved me some hassle. And of course all the great movies available for free!

Good location, very central and few steps to the Main Street, nicely decorated and well equipped, stylish place, room thoughtfully designed, despite the small size intelligently laid out and well equipped; overall a cool location with a flavour of the history of the city.

Great hotel location just in the city center, yet very quiet. The hotel provides a historical atmosphere of Lodz city. Nice cinematography decoration and memorabilia everywhere. Spacy shower (combination of hand and ceiling). The room window is facing the north side, which keeps it chilly during summer days. Kitchenette with basic equipment, Parking just in front of the hotel entrance for 30 PLN/day.
