the rooms were nice and had good style. the breakfast was wonderful and the staff was always helpful.

If you want to stay in the interesting area of Kazimierz, you can’t do better for location than right on the main square. This quirky, homey, interesting, friendly hotel is in a 14th century building with lots of history, antique furnishings, but modern plumbing. Breakfast was a massive spread set at my table, and staff were A+ for making me feel at home. I was on the third floor and WiFi worked well. My “room” was actually more like an apartment, with a living room and bedroom, and private bathroom across the hall. This is not a cookie-cutter place, which is what I look for: convenience in an interesting setting. And Klezmer Hois delivered. It is also home to a publishing company and books are everywhere on the ground floor. There is a nightly klezmer concert during dinner at their restaurant. These frequently sell out - very popular - so be sure you get a reservation in early if you want to attend. And I would definitely recommend attending.

Entering Klezmer Hois is (similar to what other people have rated) like time travelling. It is full pf pictures, memories, books and music. The room was large and while the furniture was, to fit the flair, quite old fashioned, everything was clean and of a high quality. The breakfast was of course a bit different to what one is used to (no typical continental breakfast), but of high quality as well and rich in styles and flavors (homemade humus & cakes, fresh fruit, great coffee). The Klezmer Hois is located in Kazimierz, so the walk to the old town takes ~ 10-15 minutes. You can easily reach it using public transport (Station Miodowa). So the location in pur opinion was ideal, as kazimierz is a great place to find restaurants and bars in the evening. In the evening (20:00) there was a Klezmer (traditional jewish music) concert (35 PLN pP) which we also highly recommend!

This place is a marvel. The rooms are large, with an old-world atmosphere, comfortable beds, a ton of character and the windows opening onto the heart of Kazimierz. The restaurant is one of the coziest (even if not the cheapest) Jewish restaurants in Krakow. The historic building has a very long history and now, besides the hotel and the restaurant, houses a publishing house. You will find the lobby full of books. Oh, yes, and the breakfast is to die for!

Breakfast is excellent. Room is very large with old-fashion furniture. The interior of the hotel is very specific. Location is great: in the Jewish quarter and only 15 minutes by foot from the Main Square. A lot of cafe and restaurants around. Tram station is 200 meters from the hotel.
