Stay only for 1 night. We checked in late evening, all instructions were very clear and we got the keys quickly. The apartment was clean, spacious, cosy recently renovated, modern and well equipped (including kitchen and all facilities you need there). The bed was very comfy, great walk in shower. The radiators were switched off but the place warmed up quickly after turning them on. Great location, only 5 mins from the main train and bus station. Nearby there is a shop open long hours, great Italian restaurant and Wesoła Café serving the best coffee and bagels!

Our apartments are an unusual place, where unique history and the city’s atmosphere meet with comfort and functional modernity. Located in the heart of the city, in the historic district with tenement houses, it is a perfect place for those who want to feel exceptionally. Central location and direct Old Town’s neighbourhood merge here with the atmosphere of the past. Our district is called Wesoła and dates back to 1639 when the jurydyka (settlement outside the royal city) for a Polish noble lady Katarzyna Zamoyska was created. From the very beginning, the district has had residential character and many courts, palaces and beautiful gardens were built. Both our tenement house, built-in 1894 in historic style, and many other neighbouring buildings – have preserved its unique charakter.

'Wesoła' – in the neighbourhood of Platinum The unique character of this district in Krakow can be attributed to the continued functioning of science, medicine, nurseries and philanthropic institutions in this area. An important role in the image of our district played monasteries, churches and their gardens. Moreover, Rakowicka Street at which our apartments are located, has a very rich history, because once it connected the centre of the Rakowice village, which is now one of the districts in Krakow. In Wesoła you will find among others: surrounded by a garden neo-renaissance main building of the the Cracow University of Economics, which originally had served as a shelter for young boys; the monastery of the discalced Carmelites and the historic cemetery. But not only the architecture is unique in this area. Nearby you will find also Strzelecki Park with an extremely interesting history of the Fowler Brotherhood or the Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University.
