Firstly the hotel is in an excellent location right across the road from the bus station! The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was extremely clean throughout. The swimming pool was great, hardly used and the water even warm enough for a swim in spring! I assume that in summer there are more sunbeds available rather than the 5 that were out? Amazing view over the sea from the high floor.

Such friendly staff, lovely little hotel and nice sea view. Nice pool are and gentlemen at the bar so lovely. I thought the food was very nice with good fresh options available. Breakfast and supper was excellent quality.

It felt like a chilled relaxed area, a lovely promenade to walk along, plenty of restaurants to choose from. This was my first solo trip and I felt very safe, I would definitely come back here and do some of the activities on offer. There is huge selection of restaurants and bars to choose. Generally the quality is very good and cleanliness is good. Fish restaurants near the port are really good. If you like cooking there is the fish and veg markets, you can buy fresh fish daily as it is a working fishing port, also there is a large open air produce market about 500m from the port every Wednesday with many stalls. The old town has more character and little bars and cafes where you can get a better feel of portugues culture. Venture into the side streets.

Lovely coffee and cake shops. Shopping ok but out of season so some shops closed. Beach wonderful Good transport by bus and free circular bus to gypsy market and Vilamoura Went to Family Bistro many times. Rita’s shop is great for good Portuguese shoes

We loved the location.
We loved the location. Grocery, pharmacy, dental, were all accessible without needing a car. If you had a car other places like Albuferia, Loule, Lagos, Paderne, Faro, Fuzeta, Santa Luzia, Tavira are within an hour drive or you can take the bus. You can walk to Villamoura along the boardwalk which is about 2.5 km away. Weather was perfect for Dec-Feb, 15-25 degrees C.SharonCanada

Location for us was brilliant, short walk into the town and beach although it is uphill on way back. Could not be happier with this find as we love Portugal and this gave us the freedom to have an apartment rather than a hotel. The children enjoyed the pool which had the sun all afternoon. The hosts were lovely, questions answered straight away, communication great.
