Apartment was beautiful. Very spacious, nicely designed with recent updates. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need including a dishwasher and oven/microwave. Room was very clean and daily housekeeping was plus. Fresh bread delivered in the morning was a wonderful bonus!! Location was excellent, street not too noising at night. Staff was friendly.

Ex Libris is an expression in Latin that literally means “from the Books of”. Ex Libris is a testament to the vibrant literary and journalistic scene that has always been part of the street, having housed the offices of O Diário Ilustrado, which was shut down by the government in 1956, and the bookshop Livraria Camões. This building's excellent location places it in the heart of the action, where things are always happening. With 18 apartments spread over 6 floors, Ex-Libris redefines the concept of Premium accommodation, offering 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom suites in a building that combines sophistication, tradition and contemporary design. The interior design reflects a modern space with traditional elements, emphasising Portuguese design and young, local emerging artists. These elements include paintings by Maisa Champalimaud, wood furniture designed by Cabanas and a lobby featuring Urban Art by the Portuguese graphic designer Add Fuel, who adds a contemporary touch to traditional Portuguese azulejo tiles. Lisbon is the place to be. What could be more fitting than to stay in a meticulously designed and decorated suite right in the heart of the city.
