A very nice city with very friendly locals. I enjoyed every bit of the city. It was easy to plan an easy city hike in a day to see all the good spots. I would however recommend visiting outside of the peak season of tourists just to have a more relaxed experience of the city without the crowd and the spike in prices. and also, they mean it when they say it's a city where you experience all 4 seasons in a day XDPriscillaPortugal - 10Scored 10

So enjoyed the whole experience. Natives are friendly and most speak good English. Among many other languages. Prices are so reasonable - streets are clean, always ! No garbage thrown anywhere except in the appropriate receptacles which are located conveniently throughout. Lovely and relaxing place

Very relaxed, chilly vibe. Weather changes quickly with fresh blowing air and quite good prices in restaurants. The one and only minus is for transport which is cheap but not very frequent and reliable, ideally rent some kind of vehicle.

Not bad for its price. Horrible bed. 2nd night had such back and neck problems. Went to the hospital over dish. Did complain to front desk and they gave me a ice back. Exrays said that my back muscles were cramped. Hotel needs proper bed and pillows for their guest. Also had my brother and sister in law and a friend staying at the hotel. They same complaint on beds and pillows.

Ponta Delgada had surprisingly great restaurants and bars. Huge recommendations to the pizza place Nonna's and the gourmet-like restaurant (without gourmet prizes) Casa Nostra that we visited three times each during our eight day stay. Also a huge shoutout to Ta Gente, which is an outstanding gin bar. All in all, it was great to walk around town for a few days before going on hikes around the island.ppstorgaardDenmark

The location was central Ponta Delgada with everything nearby and great recommendations by the hosts. Vania and Sergio are the best thing about this home. They treat you like royalty and are around but not invasive. This is the best hotel I've ever been to and rebooked once I stayed. Every bit of the experience was hassle free and welcoming for everyone.

Breakfast was excellent On the rooftop they have a heated infinity pool which unfortunately I didn’t use because either we were touring or the weather was cool and raining. The manager, Mr Alexandru Daralta, was very nice to us, giving us an update to the junior suite, which was spectacular. I would suggest to stay at this place, when coming to Sao Miguel, cause it's right in the city center and the hotel is super nice. We did not had the chance to try the breakfast, as we left early in the morning. This will be our base camp if we come back again on the island. :)OctavianRomania

Lido & Antonio were extremely helpful in all matters related to our holiday or activities in Azores. The location was downtown on a corner of walking street with many restaurants close by. City center is accessible by foot. (For other locations in Sao Miguel a rental car is best option.) Our teens enjoyed playing with the house pets. ;D
