It’s a hotel with character, splendid rooms, both the bedrooms and the public lounge and dining hall, with delightful details (note the aesthetically pleasing, well-designed curtain pegs and the handles on the dressers. For all this and much more I’m singing it’s praises and hope someone will put some investment into this fine hotel - without destroying its fine features.

If you want old skool charm, almost kitch, in fab setting, great views, oozing slightly tired style, you'll love it as we did!!!! Everything we needed, brilliant value for money, maybe just needs a little tlc!!! We still found it charming, full of history and we couldn't help but fantasize about the people and stories that must've happened here!!!!
