The hotel Atrio is a small family-run rural hotel located on the sunny south side of Madeira Island. Wonderfully placed at the edge of a pine forest, nature lovers and walkers find the perfect alternative to the hustle and bustle of Funchal city. A sizable cultivated garden invites you to unwind and relax. The 22 rooms are individually decorated and offer a terrace or balcony with a wonderful view. Each rooms includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a bath or a shower. Extras include bath robes and a hairdryer. The price includes a rich and varied breakfast buffet. On arrival, a complimentary bottle of mineral water and fruits are provided. The restaurant is open daily from 13:00 until 22:00 and offers a wide range of homemade dishes including vegetarian dishes. On the first meal, we will welcome you with a Madeira Poncha cocktail or a Madeira wine. There is also a heated outdoor swimming pool, a library and a bar with fireplace. The hotel has a computer for its guests and an open WiFi free of charge. Funchal is 17 mi from Atrio, while Sao Vicente is 8.7 mi away. Madeira Airport is 24 mi from the property.
