Everything was amazing. The staff was great, the room was very confortable, the breakfast tasty and the views outstanding.

HungaryThis is a unique 200 acre property, so you can run, bike, golf without leaving it. Garden and forest is kept in a good shape as well as the golf course. Italian restaurant is not very special. Other restaurant is very good - the tapas place. Gym and wellness and swimming pool is very good. Racetrack is close.

PortugalThe staff of the hotel from the reception, concierge and kids playroom are all very friendly, and helpful. We enjoy the vast landscape and walking through the Forrest around the resort and passing historical monuments is a very special experience for us while walking around an hotel area. The kids park and the restaurants are amazing, the heated pool was also great for us in December. Our son had the best time of his life. We rented an electric car from the hotel and we ended up not using it since we didn’t find a place to charge it and the reception refunded our money even that we had the car for one day. The rooms are clean and it seems that the cleaners are around all the time to refill bottles of water or fresh towels. The facility is just full of everything you can ask for as a family resort. Unique experience!. Top class, and above all the staff of the hotel seems like they are chosen very carefully and we appreciate that. Will come again.

PortugalBreakfast was spectacular. All staff very friendly and helpful. All were willing to speak English as required. This was an experience in a location that was well looked after. Very quiet and tranquil. It is at the high end of the price range but for a special occasion it was more than worth it. The people made it an amazing place to stay and explore the region of Sintra, Cascais, and Lisbon. I would return in a heartbeat and they made Christmas happen.

United States of AmericaThe whole entire property is so beautiful and loved visiting the monastery that’s right on site. Also was able to get a guided tour of it. All of the hotel staff were so nice and very helpful. Every single restaurant was amazing and there are even two Michelin star restaurants on site.

Penha Longa Resort has 10 restaurants, presenting a diverse range of cuisines and dining spaces. Perhaps the most famous of these is the recently-renovated Midori, Portugal's first michelin-starred Japanese restaurant. Also featured are Sergi Arola's LAB and Arola restaurants, the AQUA seasonal restaurant and the off-site Villa Tamariz Utopia, located on the Estoril coast. The Eneko Lisboa restaurant, by chef Eneko Atxa, who currently holds 5 Michelin stars, brings fine dining options with local nuances, while the Basque restaurant aims to recreate the characteristic Basque tavern cuisine. The Penha Longa Mercatto italian restaurant is also the site of the daily breakfast buffet, with scenic views over the Sintra mountains.
The resort's golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is in the top 30 in Continental Europe. The hotel has many recreation facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, both tennis and squash courts, horse riding, fitness center and a spa with treatments and an exclusive garden. A children’s playground, mini golf course and Kids' Club are also featured.
Penha Longa is in a prime location for hiking and cycling excursions. The resort is a 25-minute drive from the Lisbon International Airport.
