The town is big but most houses and some shops seemed closed (late October, early November) but you can find anything you need and it's a good location to travel both East and west fo the Algerve.

I stay here regularly, its a great town a mix of local and visiting people, but nothing like Albufeira, the beach is perfect for running, swimming. The Market is wonderful. Apartment was clean and very well equipped, also air conditioned inlcuding bedrooms. Short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, including Bistro 176 and bar near kids playground. Some lovely reasonably priced restaurants Pera Bistro, Olivemar, Italian, Palm Beach.

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location. Relaxing and wonderful scenery gardens well maintained and rooms clean and air-conditioning perfect. Attentive and pleasant staff at reception and in dining areas. A fantastic location for a relaxing stay in beautiful cliff top location with wonderful beaches near by. Food good choices and fresh.

Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter...
Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter months. Holiday Inn is right on the beach and if you book a sea view room you won’t be disappointed. Some lovely Portuguese restaurants locally. Love coming back here whenever we can.

The staff are exceptional. It’s a very welcoming hotel in an excellent beach front location. We were lucky to have a sea view room with a private balcony. It’s a very nice & relaxing place to stay. We are already planning our next visit.FrenchPortugal

The staff is very friendly and helpful , they are happy to recommend you beautiful places nearby to visit. The location of the hostel is perfect because is close to the most beautiful spots in Algarve ( Benagil is only 5 mins) ansd walking distance to the city centre of Armacao de Pera. The swimming pool is superb , we loved to spent time there. Very clean and new environment. Strongly recommended!GiuliaItaly

Apartment was big, spacious, with equipped kitchen, well prepared and very comfortable for our family. Reception helped in ogarnizing the transport from the train station and then to the airport. Swimming pool was ok, enough sunbeds. Hotel is close to the señora Rocha beach, which is ok, but maybe not the nicest one. We could easily reach nearby beaches, more beautiful from our point of view.AnnaPoland

The bathroom was very modern with all of the facilities needed. Not to mention the most friendly staff which was always available to us and helpful with tips! We were also able to use a nice pool with complete privacy and even were able to sunbathe in complete peace. It was truly the best hotel we have ever been in Portugal so far and also one of the cheapest!

The spa is fantastic with a large array of treatments. The hotel is very quiet at night with not much going on. Location is to a beautiful beach. Staff were very nice and booked some great restaurants nearby. Room fresh and spotless. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Thank you to Innes, Carlos and Tiago for looking after us.

The accommodation is great, looks recently renovated and really well-kept. It was sparkling clean with all the amenities we needed for our overnight stay. Its location is great, in the centre of Armação de Pêra, close to all the shops, restaurants and the seaside. Would recommend.

All the staff where friendly and the facilities such as pool and gardens where all clean and well maintained. also the rooms where cleaned and beds made up every other day which was appriciated.
