Beautiful beaches and grottos. Great restaurants, fish market, and boardwalks for walking and biking. It would have been easier to explore neighboring towns with a car. We felt limited without one. The people are so kind and considerate and laid-back. The weather in April was beautiful but too cold for swimming. We spent a week in Lisbon, Tavira, and Lagos. Lagos is a very beautiful small city to visit, lots of attractions are around, which can be covered by max. 3 full days. I recommend the trip with 3 nights in the Lagos is enough, excluding golf, hiking or surfing requires.

My second trip to Logos last one 20 years ago If you are into walking the new boardwalk runs parallel to beach it's great. I think last two weeks in April would be better weather wise. Very well served with fish market and local produce. I always use public transport it was fine. 90 year old ice cream parlour yummy!!!

Lagos is beautiful and food is good value to eat out . The weather was poor when we went unfortunately with a family and there was nothing to do of it rained or was too windy. We searched and asked so many locals if there were indoor activities even an indoor pool that the kids could enjoy but nothing. We had a car so drove a lot to other places for more entertainment. Beautiful place it’s our second visit may return in the future but not in a rush

It's in a good location with an Intermarche across the street and a coffee shop, pizza shop, and other shops nearby. A bit of a hike to the marina area, but we ended up renting a car, anyway, because we were needing to go out of Lagos a few times during our stay. Roll down Roman shades make for the best sleep experience, blocking out light almost completely. Street noise was not too noticeable, unless someone had a really loud car.

The hosts are amazing and cook fresh breakfasts every morning using local fresh ingredients. Great location only 7 minutes drive from the center. Very private and quiet. And no children to spoil your afternoon pool time. Free parking. Very communicative hosts. We were provided a welcome snack and glass of sparkling wine upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lagos area. Thank you Renato and Rosana for a wonderful visit.

The apartment itself was ideal, clean and comfortable. Easily the best place we stayed in the Algarve for both quality and price. Peter and Bernadete are lovely too. Great hosts with excellent communication. This will be my #1 choice of accommodation if I return to Lagos.
