We had a very pleasant stay at Casa da Bellavista. Luiz is such a great host. He was very friendly, always available and made sure we had everything we needed. Every question was answered immediately. The house had the perfect location for us as a family. Very close to Porto center but in a very nice neighborhood with a park, lots of restaurants and cafes and at the beach. We enjoyed the traditional housing in a 300 years old building with beautiful indo-portuguese furniture very much. Further, everything was provided for our baby: baby bed, high chair, even toys.

the location is really great. when you leave the house, the ocean is right in front of you. also right at the start/ end of the tram line which is a really must do when in porto. plus there are a few nice brunch bars and food places on walking distance. Luiz, the host was really great as well. He was very welcoming, and gave us some good recommendations.

I stayed at Casa da Belavista for 5 weeks and it was wonderful. The apartment is large, very well-equipped and comfortable (including an excellent bed that I slept really well in). The location is perfect - just off the pretty, waterfront Passeo Alegre park, moments away from the bus stop and an easy walk to the beaches in one direction, and along the gorgeous riverbank into town in the other. Best of all was the charming and kind hospitality from Luiz, including a wonderful breakfast, lots of local area suggestion and a very friendly welcome. I loved my stay and am very happy to recommend Casa da Belavista most highly.

Tastefully decorated and every need catered to. The apartment is cosy and very comfortable, especially the lovely bed! Everything was spotless. Nice and quiet, excellent for relaxing away from the city but close enough to the sights too, the tram is practically on the doorstep and goes straight into the centre. I also loved the wonderful walk beside the river and spent a day on the beach which is in walking distance. Luiz was an excellent host, messaging to check things were ok but not bothering me. I didn't want to leave!
