Received an awesome welcome from Adelaida, and she even gave us some Port wine from the region! She was very kind and showed us around. What a beautiful place! The vineyards, the view to the valley, the sunsets...just wow! The pool was great! It was very hot when we visited, and it was refreshing. The breakfast was also great! Even though there is so much to see in the area, leaving the Quinta was very hard. So relaxing! There is a restaurant within walking distance with great food at an affordable price. I believe is called O Padrão. Even the walk to the restaurant was a beautiful experience. I want to reiterate how special Adelaida is, and our experience was wonderful in great part due to her hospitality and positiveness.

The location is great. Close to all the wineries and in a great little town. Some really wonderful restaurants right in town. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the property. It was comfortable, well appointed and a perfect size for our family of 5. It had 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen. The deck are overlooked the vineyard which was a great view to stare out at. The pool was wonderful and was quite a hit with our teenage boys. The hostess was very kind and handled our very limited Portuguese well. Check in and check out were both very easy.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! We couldn't get the WiFi to work, but we used our own laptop to make a connection, so we had no troubles. Honestly, this place was exceptional, we had the most wonderful time.

Casa de Eira is very comfortable and spacious, a bedroom and a sitting room, for a couple, with beautiful views, comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The pool is a great addition. The location is gorgeous. As we have been there in October, it was also very quite except for Saturday. Great place to relax and explore the Douro valley.

The location was very quiet with nice views. Also beautiful location to go for a hike or go biking. The owners were both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed swimming in one of the three pools.

The tranquil setting is the perfect place to relax for a few days; it was great for our young children also who had the freedom to walk around in the beautiful grounds amongst the grape vines and fruit trees. Ms Adelaide and Xavier were the perfect hosts, so kind, helpful - nothing was too much. The house, rooms, grounds and swimming pools are very well maintained and the small kitchen area enabled us to store a few fresh food items so we could prepare our own lunch during the day. Breakfast was very enjoyable, simple but just enough. The accommodation is situated just a short drive from Armamar where we enjoyed dinner. It is also very well located for exploring areas of the Douro including the most beautiful road route from Regua to Pinhao. We would recommend the property to anyone wishing to visit the area. Stayed in Casa da Loja a house at Casa de São Miguel Douro, the whole experience was excellent. An uninterrupted view across the Douro valley was brilliant to wake up to. Will be back.
