It was raining so much and they welcomed us with umbrellas as guide us to where the rooms are located. The rooms were pre heated since it was really cold outside. The rooms are really well decorated and very functional. The view was great. Even with the rain I could see the lights of the small villages on the mountain. Loved that the bathroom with a window and the same view as the room. Everything was impeccably clean. The common areas were cozy and warm. Breakfast was delicious and served at the time we requested it. Portuguese bread is the best thing ever! The hosts showed me and my parents around the property and it was beautiful! We will return!

Very next to the property you’ll find the national park sights. Margarida is such a nice host and very helpful with everything you need. During the corona time, they take also good care about sterilizing everything and around the pool there was always enough room for social distancing too. The bathrooms especially are amazing!
SwitzerlandThe owner is super nice and friendly, the rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. The place itself is amasing - huge beautiful garden, beautiful old house of the owners, everything is decorated with love and good taste. It was a lovely experience spending a night there.

Inserida na envolvente natural da região de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, e com um espaço elegante, requintado e acolhedor, a Casa do Prado goza de uma deslumbrante vista para as serras do Marão, Alvão e Velão, a partir da extensa área que cada um dos seus quartos possui. O seu jardim único proporciona momentos ímpares de descanso, tranquilidade e harmonia numa relação íntima com a natureza.
Há vários restaurantes num raio de 1 Km/1,5km. Existe junto à propriedade um parque temático etnobotânico , em construção, onde se pode caminhar e andar de bicicleta, podendo desfrutar da natureza e de toda uma vista sobre as montanhas do Alvão e Marão. O local é totalmente seguro, o acesso é só permitido aos hóspedes, aos proprietários e aos funcionários.
