United KingdomLocation - 10 minute walk to central plaza; outdoor terrace for picnic/cocktails. Beautiful building, classical music, breakfast, laundry service, on site bar, did I say breakfast (french press coffee, french toast, fresh scrambled eggs, fresh bacon not smoked, yogurt, local breads). Charlotte and her staff were so sweet, responsive and helpful with suggestions. We are definitely coming back. It was beautiful in early October. Also our room was spacious with a love seat and seating area. We could see Pena Castle from our room (6). At least I think it was Pena Castle. It was cool in the moonlight all lit up.

United States of AmericaThey went out of their way to make sure we knew how to get around, where to eat, and to have an early breakfast ready for us. Everything was arranged to make us very comfortable. There wears a nice outside sitting area and a great view.

GermanyWow! What a place. A beautiful estate right outside the historic district of sintra with a homey feel and the sweetest staff. Our room was beautiful and clean as was our bathroom. The staff helped us book dinner reservations and Charlotte (the owner) helped us find a car!!! It felt like home! You can walk into town and take a bus to all the main spots and the view from the courtyard of casa miradouro is spectacular. 10/10 would recommend!
United States of AmericaIt is close to the nicest beach in Sagres. Nice and quiet. Fairly easy walk to the main town. All in all very good. Pre-arrival communication is very good. The kitchen is well-equiped if you are making your own meals. Great view out the back porch.

GermanyThe house is so charming and comfortable. Quiet and comfy beds. The staff was incredibly kind and helped with ubers, directions, places to go, etc. the breakfast was awesome. You can get a massage at the house ( my friend had one) and they will help you find cool excursions. Charlotte navigated a great beach day for us. I would’ve never known how to see so much in one day. She is truly a mind hostess. Location was perfect. Highly recommend for solo travel (safe), romantic and families!

The lady of the house Charlotte and her team will make your stay very comfortable and unforgettable. Take a look inside and discovered the most charming Boutique Guest-house in Sintra, Portugal. The House :Casa Miradouro Hotel was built around 1890 for a family of army officers. In 1987 the family moved out and the house stood empty for six years. The house was bought in 1993 and completely restored in the following year. Casa Miradouro opened for guests in July 1994. The name, Casa Miradouro, translates to Viewpoint house, so named because of the fantastic views towards the Atlantic Ocean and over Sintra up to the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle. The Rooms:Casa Miradouro features eight spacious, individually-designed and beautifully-decorated suites. Each room is named after one of the glorious Palaces which you can discover within a short walk or drive from the property. Queen and twin size beds are furnished with the finest Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy duvet and hypoallergenic pillows.
As a former air hostess I have always had great pleasure in welcoming guests with the aim to make their stay as pleasant as possible!
