“It was our overnight stop during a long travel. Location: A medieval village (XII century) located about 30km off the motorway. Definitely worth to divert, even for an overnight stop. A quiet charming place Hotel: an old building converted into a small hotel carefully finished with stone and wood and decorated with pieces of crochet hand made by the owner. Room: Large and comfortable, wooden floor and furniture. A veranda with table is a good place to sit at night. electric sockets: Available, the sockets near the bed occupied by a lamp lighting: good. Bed: very comfortable. Bathroom: shower cabin large enough, regular electric socket available. Breakfast: Excellent, large selection of food, very good quality and with different Portuguese specialties. WiFi: strong signal, fast connection, Staff: excellent welcome, we have got a lot of hints about the vicinity. Parking: free, front of the house.”

“We were greeted in a very friendly manner on arrival. The building is gorgeous and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The room was a little cool initially for us personally, but the heat from the radiator was easily turned up. We were very comfortable in the room we occupied and the breakfast provided was superb.”

“Amazing. Breakfast was prepared by the owner and when we saw the table that she had prepared for us, our jaws hit the floor! An opulent selection of cheeses, cured meats, apple pastries and cakes, rustic breads with home-made james (three types, including cherry!), coffee, tea, ... The own had told us that breakfast would be at 9am, but we were not expecting the fabulous service. The little town is lovely. The Internet in the room was fast. The ceilings high and the space modern yet with the old stone walls and the feel of history all around. Splendid. Absolutely splendid.”
