Lovely property once you got inside. Nice balcony to the back and front. Coffee and water provided . Very close to the cathedral, Camino and the bridge. Lots of places to eat fairly close by .

'Cativo Apartment - Porto Downtown' is an apartment located in the center of Porto. It has a maximum capacity of 4 people (one bedroom with double bed and a sofa-bed) and is super well equipped to receive you during your stay in Porto. It is brightly decorated and breathes the Porto's attitude and way of life. The building is fully restored, and provides all the comfort of a modern house, while maintaining its beautiful original architectural style and traditional Portuguese facade. The apartment has wi-fi, flat-screen cable TV, a closet to keep your clothes organized and a fully equipped kitchenette with all the necessary utensils to prepare your meals. It also has 1 complete bathroom with shower, hair drier and the traditional amenities from Portugal. Both towels and linen are provided. Please note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building without a lift.

Neighborhood info

The apartment is located in the Historic Center of Porto - the oldest area of the city and it is classified as an World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 1996. It is an area marked by the medieval origins of the city and includes some of the main and best known tourist attractions such such as: The iconic São Bento Train station with its marvelous tiles, the Cathedral, Aliados Avenue, Clérigos Tower and Bolsa Palace. The apartment is also just a few steps from the Ribeira area, where you can cross the bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia. Advice from a local: While staying in Porto, do not also miss the opportunity to catch a tram alongside the river between Ribeira to Foz. The building is located in a very typical and narrow street that will definitely make you feel like a local.
