Chagas 17 by Central Hill Apartments, is a building with several apartments ranged from 4 Bedrooms to 5 Bedrooms. It is located just next to the most central Square of Lisbon – Praça Luís de Camões, in Chiado/Bairro Alto neighbourhood. This building is the perfect place to stay, since you are within walking distance from all the main places to visit in Lisbon’s downtown such as Principe Real, Rossio, Chiado, Bairro Alto, the City Castel and its picturesque neighbourhood called Alfama.

Neighbourhood information

Chiado is considered Lisbon's most elegant and trendiest neighborhood where everyone meets for coffee, shopping, or before going out for dinner. It's a neighborhood that flashes back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, when writers such as Fernando Pessoa, used to write at the now-historic cafes like A Brasileira which is a few steps from our apartment. It's also the neighborhood of theaters, charming old bookshops and major international brands, giving it a lively cosmopolitan ambience! Bairro Alto is a picturesque working class quarter dating from the 16th century that has traditionally been the city's bohemian haunt of artists and writers. Its grid of streets is quiet during the day, but is transformed at night into the city's vibrant nightlife quarter. Behind colorful and graffiti-ridden facades is a variety of traditional and international restaurants, Fado Houses, and a multitude of bars and alternative shops that stay open until late night. Throughout the week, and especially on weekends you'll find people of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles bar-hopping through the cobbled lanes or standing outside with a drink in hand enjoying the city's usual mild nights.
