Welcome to my newly refurbished 1BR flat in the scenic Alfama neighbourhood! Ideally located at the doorstep of the National Pantheon while still steps away from Santa Apolónia train station, this is a location that will allow you to discover the most authentic Lisbon and the one I surely enjoy the most. By refurbishing my home to a very high standard, we've been able to maintain several typical Portuguese features that will greatly enhance your experience in our beautiful city. Enjoy!

Neighborhood info

Alfama is a very traditional neighbourhood with a strong local life & sense of community. It definitely is one the best places to feel the true vibe of our beautiful city. It's the oldest neighbourhood in Europe after El Pópulo in Cadiz. It's like a small village, standing as a time capsule to the years before Lisbon was destroyed by the 1755 earthquake, as it remained standing thanks to its rock-solid foundations. You'll see magnificent river views and laundry out to dry from balconies, smell fish being grilled in a corner, hear the sounds of Fado coming out of a restaurant, taste authentic traditional meals, and touch some dazzling tilework. The most famous church of Lisbon, the Cathedral Sé, is 10 minutes walking from the apartment. Our beautiful flat is very close to many of Lisbon's highlights such as the National Pantheon, Fado Museum, São Jorge Castle, Portas do Sol belvedere and Feira da Ladra flea market. The historical and commercial center of Lisbon (Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto) are also easily reached walking.
